FLIPSIDE FESTIVAL 2015
Wabba Wabba, Wibba Wabba and Wobba Wibba (left to right) are cacti created and installed for the 2015 Flipside Festival. Cut out of chipboard with cacti building assistant Louise Todd the cacti were cut out using a good old jigsaw to feature holes that visitors to the festival could poke their head through and grab a cheeky selfie. Intended to be reminiscent of painted boards at the end of seaside piers where you can pretend to be a strong man or clown etc the cacti got their fair share of selfies throughout the festival weekend.
The striking shades of Montana Acrylic greens used set the cacti apart from the natural landscape of Snape Maltings and could clearly be seen from a distance.
