THE CYANOTYPE PROJECT

The cyanotype project is a collaboration between myself and friend and fine artist Naomi Barrell creating cyanotype prints. Using weeds and found items from Alexandria Park in Ipswich we created two A1 cyanotypes which document the trace of not just the objects/weeds - but the trace of ourselves. We are surrounded by detritus and we typically ignore it or cast it to one side, these prints place us directly next to the neglected objects/weeds which we inhabit our world with.
